Prerequisites
Awareness on what to do with/how to move your hips is crucial when working on both the middle splits and pancake. That, along with consistent work on your hamstrings too, develop the required strength and range to enter into and exit from your middle splits safely. With a stronger baseline, inch towards the floor while the body is in a pancake in a safe and pain-free way.
